Objective of this modeling

  1. Scaling and tracing drawings in Rhino (using the Picture command)
  2. Understanding the typical workflow for architectural modeling
  3. Managing layers efficiently
  4. Adding design details such as louvers
  5. Applying basic Rhino materials (e.g., glass and grass)
  • ライノ上での図面寸法調整とトレース (PICTURE)
  • 建築模型典型的なワークフロー
  • レイヤーの管理
  • 詳細の加え方 ルーバーなど
  • 基本ライノ材質の設置 ガラスや草地

Massing

  1. Insert 2 input pictures
  2. Put 1 in scale
  3. Draw outline of the building footprint
  4. Draw outline of the roof
  5. Match the number of points of the outline of the roof
  6. Duplicate the top curve and modify as the second top curve
  7. Set 3 curves at their height
  8. LOFT them (3 curves)
  9. SECTION to get the third curve
  10. LOFT again (4 curves) but this time with History Recorded
  11. Modify curves to match the goal shape

Detailing

  1. Flooring CONTOUR at 3 m
  2. ExtrudeCrv 3m to create floors (yes to Solid)
  3. Louver CONTOUR at 1 m
  4. ExtrudeCrv 0.5m to create louvers
  5. Assign materials and layers
