Chie Fuyuki is a Japanese designer and researcher with over fifteen years of international experience across architecture, computational design, and generative AI (GenAI). She holds a Master of Architecture from the art- and design–focused Pratt Institute in New York, and is currently pursuing doctoral research at Tsinghua University in China.
Her professional career includes contributions to major international projects at MAD Architects, followed by the founding of Tuning Synesthesia (系联建筑设计咨询(北京)有限公司) in Beijing. As principal, she led architectural and urban development projects for clients such as Alibaba, Sino-Ocean, and CCDI.
Her expertise—grounded in a strong foundation of design principles—spans parametric standardization, mathematical system–driven design prototyping, AI-based conceptual design, and fabrication workflows involving 3D printing and robotic arms. She brings a hybrid practice that integrates advanced technological methods across professional work, research, and education. She currently teaches computational design at the university level while advancing doctoral research on emerging creative methodologies at the intersection of architecture and AI.

建築・コンピュテーショナルデザイン・生成AI（GenAI）を横断する15年以上の国際的経験を有するデザイナー／研究者である。米国の名門アート・建築系大学院Pratt Institute建築学修士、中国清華大学博士課程を背景に、MAD Architectsなどでの国際プロジェクトを経て、北京にTuning Synesthesia（系联建筑设计咨询(北京)有限公司）社を設立し、代表として大手企業（Alibaba、Sino-Ocean、CCDI等）と多数の建築・都市プロジェクトに従事した。堅固なデザイン原理の基盤に支えられ、パラメトリック標準化、数理システムに基づくデザインプロトタイピング、生成AIによる概念設計、3Dプリントやロボティックアームを用いた建築施工支援・新たなデザインワークフローの探求など、最先端技術を横断しながら、実務・研究・教育を統合するハイブリッドな専門性を持つ。現在は大学にてコンピュテーショナルデザイン教育に従事するとともに、博士論文にて建築とAIの融合領域における新たな創造実践を研究・推進している。
