FLOWING SURFACE 流动曲面

Aiming to harness flowing surfaces for the creation of spaces, this approach brings to life the dynamic beauty of continuity. Inspired by the lively and energetic motion of a dancing girl's fluttering long skirt, the process starts with the establishment of a hexagonal base. From this foundation, a structure ascends, crafted using NURBS curves, with a sweeping motion that molds the semblance of a skirt. Far from being mere simple replicas, each segment of the skirt is seamlessly connected to the others through smooth surfaces, merging into an organic unity. The subtle twist at each skirt's top echoes the swirling waist of a girl in motion, radiating vitality.

设计者想要用流动曲面来构造空间,创造具有连续性的动态之美。设计灵感来源于少女翩翩起舞的长裙,灵动而有活力。作者先构造六边形基底,向上用nurbs曲线形成框架,sweept形成裙面。每个裙摆之间并非简单复制,而是彼此通过光滑的曲面相连,构成一个有机的整体。裙摆上部的微微扭转,仿佛是少女扭动的腰部,绽放活力。
