In the past, the flourishing port trade brought prosperity to the Qilou old distric and even the entire island of Hainan. Now the Qilou old distric remains, but the birthplace of the city——the harbor disappeared without a trace in the modernized city, and the grand scene of commercial intercourse, the memory of local residents' life have lost. My design installation hope to call people's attention to the birthplace harbor and evoke people's respect of city history and sense of pride.
昔日繁盛的港口贸易产生并兴起了骑楼老城区，甚至是整个海南岛的发展。今日只剩下饱经风霜的骑楼老城区，而城市的发源地港口已经在现代化发展的城市中消失得无影无踪.商船往来的景象和当地居民的生活记忆也已丢失。我的装置设计希望唤起人们对兴起地港口的关注，对城市历史的尊重和自豪感。
My design concept is Animated Memento and use three key words (interweave,density,frequency) to describe the sensation of “liveliness”. I choose system (stochastic,network,field) to control parameter (connection number,point count and component direction& scale) and take test to get the result closely related to concept feeling and context.
我的设计概念是热闹，有三个关键词交织，密度，频率。选用随机系统，连线，场系统来控制测试参数（随机点的数量，连线的数量，单体的方向和尺度）来感受概念和联系场地文脉。
Thick connection lines remind people of interweaved commercial intercourse and historical stories that took place on the site. Triangle components can be associated with fish or anchor, and constantly change in different scales and directions, which lead the eye and convey movement directing the vicissitude of history. Flying triangles seem to be bonded by the memory lines, but a stronger feeling to break free.
浓密的连线代表着发生在场地上的交错的商业往来和历史故事记忆。三角形单体使人联想到鱼或者锚，尺度和指向上不断变化，引导人们的视线，传达一种历史变迁的动感。飞翔着，似被历史牵连，更是一种自由挣脱的力量。
