Path bifurcation and carving
Create semi-open spatial pocket

PATH BIFURCATION
The design draws its inspiration from Borges's "The Garden of Forking Paths," embodying the concept of making choices within space. It starts with the spaces between solid masses, which naturally form a network of branching paths, resembling alleyways. These are then enhanced by deliberate sculpting to create semi-open, duct-like spaces that offer a three-dimensional experience. To finalize the design, these artificially created spaces are outlined with a lattice of hollow grids, setting them apart from the original gaps and establishing a clear hierarchy between the primary and secondary elements.
